Kelley Laswell Administrator

Kelley was born in Puyallup, Washington and moved to Newton, Kansas at the age of 7. Her family moved in with her great-grandmother after her great-grandfather passed away. Kelley said, “My great-grandmother was a wonderful mentor to me and encouraged me to do my best all the time. She fell ill and ended up needing long-term care and this was my first experience with health care.” Kelley and her husband Cameron have 2 daughters, Addison & Allison and 2 dogs Maelie & Nora.

Prior to starting with Good Samaritan Society Kelley worked as a Business Office Manager and Property and Casualty Licensed Agent, as a Customer Service/Sales Associate in a grocery store and as a Mental Health Care Worker teaching and counseling youth on appropriate behaviors, expectations, and problem-solving skills. “I believe all of these experiences have helped shaped me into the person I am today,” said Kelley.

Kelley recently graduated with a Dual Masters in Health Care Leadership & Business Administration. Her hobbies include spending time with family, traveling to new destinations & revisiting favorite places, reading, arts & crafts, and trying something new.

Kelley had the following to say about coming to Salem, “I was drawn to Salem because the unique history of the town. The Danish culture and family atmosphere is exactly where I imagined raising a family. This home has been in the community since 1932 and I would love to see the legacy of Rev. Anders Hansen continue in the years to come where residents can feel loved, valued, and at peace.”
