Charitable Foundation…

The Christ Centered Mission of the Charitable Foundation is to help meet the needs of the  Salem Lutheran Homes community by providing an environment that enhances the comfort,    security and welfare of our residents,  granting  opportunities for their lives to be rich with joy, freedom, respect and dignity.

The foundation fulfills this mission by helping to build long-range stability for  Salem    Lutheran Homes,  and by raising funds for special projects and programs, benevolent care and capital improvements. 

Friends

Farmers who tilled the soil.

Retail merchants who served so well.

Immigrants who came from foreign countries.

Educational staff who taught your children.

Neighbors who were always there to help you.

Dedicated housewives who took care of families.

Special individuals who knew you well.

These are the friends who have lived a full  life.  These friends are Salem Lutheran Homes residents who have accomplished much in years past.  These friends have given much throughout the years.   Salem Lutheran Homes serves  friends of all social economic groups regardless of religious affiliation who desire the holistic care that Salem Lutheran Homes provide.

Your non-designated gifts can make a difference!  New challenges have been created by our society’s changing family structure and the uncertain funding from changing government priorities.   The Foundation invites and challenges you to help support and increase our ministry to Salem residents through your contributions.  The Foundation is a non-profit 501[C]3 corporation. Funds received will provide gift, interest, and dividend income to help support Salem Homes in caring for our elderly friends.
